A Laugh

After the week we had last week, I thought we could all use a laugh. Payton had been sick since September 18th. He ended up getting a pretty high fever. I called the Doctor a couple of times and they just  told me to keep giving him Tylenol and Ibuprofen and reassured that he probably just had a virus that was going around. He also had diarrhea for like a week straight! So there were a couple of days I didn't even bother putting clothes on him. However, it was kind of chilly in our house for some reason and I felt like he needed something on him, I found this robe in his closet and it is a size 9 Month. He never got to wear it before, I'm not sure why, I think I just forgot it was there. So anyways, I decided to let him wear the robe even though it was a little small and he found these shoes in his closet and brought them to me to put on him. I think the outfit combo with this music and dancing is just hilarious!! I hope you enjoy this little video as much as I did, I'm sure Payton will thank me for this someday! Also, I apologize that this pictures isn't upright, I have not yet figured out how to rotate videos. It took me awhile to even figure out how to post videos, so maybe you can just turn your computer screens until I figure it out!!

1 Year Old!

Payton's Birthday was one September 4th and we celebrated with a big party! I can't believe he's a year old, I know everyone says that, but it's true! I can hardly remember what it was like to hold him as a tiny baby in my arms, he hardly lets me hold him anymore! *Tear, Tear*

Before I go and get all sentimental and mushy let's switch gears and talk about the party! He had so much fun opening presents and had a lot of help (help was okay this year because he wasn't really in to opening the gifts but I'm sure next year will be different!)

All of his Cousins made it to the party, he loves playing with all of them so much! He was pretty tired and also got a cold the night before his party so he wasn't his usual smiley self but he still had fun!

I decided to go with an Owl theme because I think owls are just cute and I know that Payton will probably be picking his own theme's every year after this so I just went with what I wanted this year!
We ordered a couple of banners online and I made the table decorations. Corey and I made the cupcakes (Corey actually decorated most of them!) we even made owl shirts for the 3 of us!

Of Course one of the best parts of any 1st birthday is watching the Birthday Boy eat cake!! I think he liked it but I would say he enjoyed the punch more; We filled his sippy cup with punch and he guzzled it all down really fast! He did enjoy the cake too!

All in all it was one great day! Thank you everyone for all the well wishes!
